We welcome suggestions for improving our service to you. Please feel free to discuss any comment or suggestion with the Doctor or the Practice Manager.
All staff at the Practice are bound by a 'confidentiality agreement' in their contract to keep contents of your medical records confidential.
You may authorise us, in writing, if you wish a relative, friend or Carer to have access to your medical information.
REMEMBER that YOU too have a part to play in your care. You can help by telling the Doctor how you are feeling, and listening to what the Doctor says. If you do not understand what you are told, ASK.
Our staff try to provide you with an efficient service. We do however expect you to be patient during very busy periods. Please remember staff are not only dealing with patient appointments but also telephone calls, doctors, nurses, repeat prescriptions, post, scanning documents etc.
AS A PATIENT AT THIS PRACTICE YOU CAN EXPECT
To be treated with dignity and respect at all times.
We will meet the rights and standards set out in the National Patient's Charter. If you are a new patient you will have a simple health check. If you are aged over seventy-five you will be offered a routine health check every year.
FOR YOUR PART YOU ARE ASKED:
Please arrive on time for your appointments. Please help us to avoid wastage of valuable appointments by informing us if you cannot keep your appointment - the earlier you can tell us the sooner we can offer it to another patient.
If you need to see a Doctor urgently (in exceptional circumstances only), please try to call before coming to the practice during Surgery hours. You will have to wait to be seen and the reception staff will advise you regarding this.
- Please let us know if you change your name, address or contact number
- Please keep your medical card safe
